They truly cared about us as people, which was truly appreciated. On the night of our wedding, I had a bit of a stomachache from not eating enough throughout the day, and Geoff brought me a drink to ease my stomachache (which it did). They made sure they had the correct pronunciation for everyone in our wedding party and in our families, which seems like a minor detail, but it shows the professionalism they have. At the conclusion of our wedding, we had so many guests compliment us on our DJ and music and discuss what a great job Geoff and Gracie did.īeyond being amazing DJs, Geoff and Gracie are awesome people! They answered emails in a timely fashion, were always there to answer any questions and concerns, and really listened to us when we told them our expectations for the day. He also took on the task of an Hora Loca, which is a straight hour of crazy dance music at the end of the night. Our dance floor was packed the entire night as Geoff kept everyone entertained with a variety of songs. He not only played popular songs like Despacito and Mi Gente, but he also played traditional Colombian salsa, merengue, etc.
It was evident that Geoff was more than comfortable with our request. We were looking for a DJ who was comfortable playing both English and Spanish music, beyond the well-known songs in America. We were very concerned when looking for a DJ because we were having a biracial wedding (my husband is Colombian and I am Italian). My mom said, “34 yrs of marriage and I’ve never seen your father dance like that” it made my night. My dad & grandpa had some funny 80s rock song requests towards the end of the night and Dan mixed those in and got my old man on the dance floor ripping it up. We also had some last minute changes to a few things, Dan was so professional and kind, and made our night just simply perfect. Our first dance song wishlist was a mix of the remake and original ‘Simple the Best’ song, and Dan mix that like a straight BOSS! Mic drop! Many people were coming up to us after the wedding saying how amazing the first dance song mix was. Every single thing Dan, my husband Berto 😂, and I talked through for music selection happened.ĭan went through the entire day from start to finish with us many times prior the day to make sure every detail, down to pronouncing every person in the wedding parties challenging Italian last names correctly.
